Nations League betting tips: Three value markets to consider for Matchday 2
The second round of the 2026-27 Nations League brings another set of competitive fixtures, with Belgium vs France, Sweden vs Poland and Czechia vs England offering some interesting opportunities across the totals and handicap markets.
Here are three angles to consider based on the teams' opening performances, current availability and the players capable of influencing each game.

Belgium vs France
Belgium made an encouraging start under new head coach Mark van Bommel, beating Italy 2-0 in Rome, while France opened Zinedine Zidane's reign with a 1-0 victory over Türkiye.
The major talking point for France is the absence of Kylian Mbappe, although Belgium defender Timothy Castagne believes the visitors still have enough attacking quality through Ousmane Dembele, Michael Olise and Désiré Doué.
Kevin De Bruyne remains Belgium's key creative outlet and has also made a positive start under Van Bommel, with the midfielder saying he remains motivated to continue representing his country.
The 10bet market has France at 1.81, but the goals markets offer a more interesting route.
Best bet: Over 2.5 goals @ 1.53
Alternative: Under 3.5 goals @ 1.61
France's attacking depth should create opportunities even without Mbappe, while Belgium have enough quality through De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku to contribute.
Prediction: Belgium 1-2 France
Sweden vs Poland
Sweden have the opportunity to build on their 2-1 victory over Romania, although Graham Potter's side have suffered a significant blow with Alexander Isak leaving the international camp because of a minor injury.
Viktor Gyökeres now becomes the obvious focal point in attack.
Sweden's opener was relatively controlled rather than explosive, with Potter's side limiting Romania to just one shot on target, but Gyökeres gives them a clear route to creating danger against Poland.
Poland, meanwhile, began with a goalless draw against Bosnia and Herzegovina, leaving Robert Lewandowski and Sebastian Szymański as the main attacking threats.
The market makes Sweden favourites at 1.95, with Poland priced at 3.35.
Best bet: Over 2.5 goals @ 1.61
Alternative: Sweden -1 handicap @ 3.40
The latter offers considerably more upside if Sweden's attacking quality tells, but the totals market provides some protection against a narrow home victory.
Prediction: Sweden 2-1 Poland
Czechia vs England
England head to Prague looking for a response after losing 3-2 to Spain in their opening Nations League fixture.
Czechia also suffered defeat last time out, losing 2-1 to Croatia and ending a 19-match unbeaten home run.
They have now lost three of their last four matches, while England have won seven consecutive away games by an aggregate 21-1.
That makes the handicap market particularly interesting, although England's attacking quality also points towards goals.
Jude Bellingham has been one of England's most productive players internationally, contributing nine goals in his last nine appearances, including seven goals and two assists.
Harry Kane has also scored four times in six Nations League appearances since the start of the 2024-25 edition.
Best bet: Over 2.5 goals @ 1.65
Alternative: England -1 handicap @ 1.08
The -1 price is short, but England's away record and Czechia's recent defensive results provide a strong statistical basis for expecting the visitors to create chances.
Prediction: Czechia 1-3 England
Best suggested bets to consider
Belgium vs France – Over 2.5 goals @ 1.53
Sweden vs Poland – Over 2.5 goals @ 1.61
Czechia vs England – Over 2.5 goals @ 1.65
The handicap markets offer alternative routes, with Sweden -1 @ 3.40 standing out as the higher-risk, higher-return option, while England's -1 @ 1.08 reflects the strength of the away side in the current market.
