Carabao Cup betting tips: Man City vs Norwich prediction, odds and team news
Manchester City begin their Carabao Cup defence against Norwich City at the Etihad on Thursday night, with Enzo Maresca's side looking to extend their winning run and book a fourth-round meeting with Brighton.

Norwich, meanwhile, arrive after a 4-3 Championship defeat to Middlesbrough, although they had won their previous three games.

City expected to rotate
Maresca has already confirmed that younger players will be given opportunities, while Phil Foden is suspended after his red card against Man Utd.
Jérémy Doku is also closing in on a return from a calf problem, although the Man City boss has not confirmed whether he will feature.
Erling Haaland is also expected to be rested, with Antoine Semenyo among the options to lead the attack.
Geronimo Rulli is tipped to make his Man City debut, while Vitor Reis, Ayyoub Bouaddi and Allan could all be handed starts.
Predicted Man City XI: Rulli; Khusanov, Vitor Reis, Guehi, Lewis; Kovacic, Bouaddi; Allan, Cherki, Ait-Nouri; Semenyo.
Norwich have a number of defensive absentees, with Gabriel Forsyth, Mirko Topic, Ali Ahmed and Lucien Mahovo all ruled out.
Predicted Norwich XI: Kovacevic; Stacey, McConville, Cordoba, Chrisene; Wright, Mattsson; Crnac, Schwartau, Musaba; Makama.
Form points towards goals
Norwich have scored in five of their last six matches but have also conceded 13 goals across their seven Championship games this season.
Their most recent outing ended in a 4-3 defeat at Middlesbrough.
That makes Over 3.5 goals at 1.58 an interesting option despite City's expected rotation.
Man City have enough attacking depth to cause problems for a Norwich defence that has shown vulnerabilities, while the visitors' willingness to attack could create opportunities at the other end.
Both teams to score at 1.90 is another consideration, particularly with Man City potentially fielding a less experienced defensive unit.
Carabao Cup draw adds incentive
Man City already know what awaits them if they progress. The fourth-round draw has handed the winners a home tie against Brighton, who came from behind to beat Man Utd 3-2 at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.
That means Man City would have another Etihad fixture against Premier League opposition in the last 16, with the fourth round scheduled for the week commencing October 26.
As the defending champions, Man City will be keen to avoid an early exit, having beaten Arsenal in last season's final to claim their ninth League Cup.
Man City vs Norwich prediction
City's rotation makes the outright 1.11 price difficult to justify from a value perspective, but the gulf in quality should still tell over 90 minutes.
Prediction: Man City 4-1 Norwich
Best bet: Over 3.5 goals @ 1.58
Alternative: Both teams to score @ 1.90
Anytime goalscorer: Antoine Semenyo @ 1.71
